Build ten sentences by arranging the words. You have seven minutes, or practise without a time limit in Zen mode. Each sentence is marked correct or incorrect. Longer sentences carry slightly more weight; your practice score is converted to a half-point score out of 6.
Your practice, step by step
- Put the sentence together
Move the word tiles into the correct order, using the fixed word as your starting point.
- Check the structure
Look for the subject, verb and links between clauses. Read the complete sentence before moving on.
- Work at your own pace
You can move back and forth between questions, even if a sentence is unfinished.
- Review your answers
Each sentence must be fully correct to earn credit. Your review appears after submission.
