- Write exactly what you hear
Use the original words rather than paraphrases or synonyms. Aim for a capital letter and appropriate punctuation.
- Choose one answer
Avoid lists of alternatives such as walk, walking, walked and walks. Four alternatives for one word can score zero for that question.
- Check before continuing
Wrong words earn no credit but ordinary mistakes carry no negative deduction. Your final review compares your answer with the sentence.
